Talent manager

A talent manager represents a creator commercially, negotiating brand deals and handling contracts and invoicing on the creator's behalf, usually for a percentage of the fee.

Also called creator manager, influencer agent.

Commission typically runs between 10 and 20 percent of deal value. Above a certain income most creators take on a manager simply because negotiation and paperwork start costing more time than making content.

For a brand, the practical difference is who you email and how fast things move. A managed creator usually replies faster and negotiates harder, and the manager will expect a contract rather than a deal agreed in direct messages.
