Brand ambassador
A brand ambassador is a creator under an ongoing contract to represent a brand over months or years, usually posting on a regular schedule and typically bound by exclusivity in the category.
Also called ambassador program, long-term partnership.
Ambassadorships trade reach for credibility. Audiences discount a one-off sponsored post because they know it is a transaction, but a creator who uses a product repeatedly over a year reads as an actual customer.
They are usually structured as a monthly retainer covering a set number of deliverables, with additional work priced separately. Because the commitment is long, both sides tend to agree an exit clause.
